Koi Chinese Restaurant

We had a lovely new waitress from south Africa (Chloe - i think i recall) show us to our seats, she was so welcoming and attentive with her service. A lovely addition to the Silk Flower team! My friend shared that her ‘Sizzling Mongolian lamb’ was full of flavour and the Lamb was nice and soft. CKT (Fried noodles) was delicious, i would definitely order this dish again! Our vegetarian fried rice was lacking some flavour and unfortunately some parts of the rice was ‘crunchy’ which made it a little difficult to eat and enjoy. On the flip side for our vegetarian main - the Sizzling Tofu with vegetables was flavoursome. Plenty of vegetarian options available to choose from. Loved the chrysanthemum Tea!!

Ordered a few dishes from Koi Chinese tonight and all of them tasted nice. We ordered the salt and pepper pork ribs, stir fry noodles, honey chicken and sizzling beef. The service was good over the phone and they got everything correct and remembered to add our sauce on the side. From Paul and Anna Tran

Had dinner there and love it. The food was fresh and full of flavour. Friendly staffs and good atmosphere. Highly recommended and we definitely go back again.

Food was outstanding, meat was fresh and tender in the satay beef dish, honey chicken was crispy/flavourful and noodles were delicious. Great portion sizes. Staff and service was next level and a minimal wait time on food to come out. I’ll definitely be returning, from the moment I walked in to the moment I left was a 10/10 experience.

We have dined in at Koi twice now, once just before Christmas and again tonight and both times have been outstanding. The first time we ordered Prawn Toast to start, sweet and sour pork, satay chicken and a BBQ pork Fried Rice and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The sweet and sour pork was crispy on the outside with large and delightfully tender pork chunks on the inside surrounded in a fluffy and tasty batter. The satay chicken was just as good, with juicy slices of chicken breast slathered in just the right amount of sauce. The addition of pineapple is not one I'm used to but it worked surprisingly well. The BBQ Pork Fried Rice was an enormous serve and was deliciously moreish. The prawn toast entree was also hot, fresh and tasty but I would love for the prawn layer to be thicker. Or maybe I'm just getting greedy because all the other portions seemed so generous. We came back tonight and got the same rice and S&S Pork, but chose chicken with cashews and Salt & Pepper Squid to try something different. Same excellent service, and super fresh ingredients, both dishes blew out socks off again. We are both relatively big eaters but we left with 3 full takeaway containers of leftovers! We definitely plan to return again, and bring friends and family with us

Recently got take away from here for the first time. The food was delicious, very fresh and flavoursome. The staff were lovely too. Will definitely be back.
